The house is very energy efficient due to the extensive insulation and double glazing.

All walls, including interior walls, are fully insulated with Polyester Batts. Selected walls have additional soundproofing. Roof cavities also have Polyester Batts.

We did not skimp on insulation. To cut costs, builders will often use the lowest R rating possible but we purposely over engineered and chose the highest R rating possible.

All windows and sliding glass doors are the highest quality uPVC argon injected double glazed windows that money can buy. We spent $25,000 on these windows. Seriously.
